Maintenance
Maintenance Guide
Congratulations on your new Instant Shutters! Designed with durability and ease of use in mind, our shutters are virtually maintenance-free. However, a little care goes a long way in preserving their beauty and functionality.
Routine Cleaning
Routine cleaning is simple and usually involves a quick dust or wipe down with a lightly damp cloth. This helps keep your shutters looking fresh and new.
Moisture and Condensation
If you frequently leave your windows open, especially in coastal areas, moisture or condensation may accumulate on the magnet plates, magnets, and hinges over time. As part of your regular cleaning routine, make sure to wipe away any moisture or marks as soon as you notice them to prevent build-up.
Replacement Parts
Should your magnet plates, magnets, or hinges tarnish due to neglect, replacement parts are available for purchase separately from Instant Shutters. Please note that these parts are not covered by warranty.
Removing Marks and Scuffs
For minor marks or scuffs, a non-abrasive cleaner should do the trick. For tougher stains, a small amount of Jiff or a similar cleaning agent can be used to restore the finish of your shutters.
By following these simple maintenance tips, you can ensure that your Instant Shutters remain a beautiful and functional addition to your home for years to come. If you have any questions or concerns about caring for your shutters, please don't hesitate to contact us. We're here to help!
